Puslinch & Guelph/Erarnosa (to the west): Rural areas in Wellington County that form a natural boundary zone, with scenic escarpment terrain that leads toward Guelph.

Milton's transportation system is deeply integrated into Ontario's regional infrastructure. Highway 401 bisects the town, acting as the primary route to Toronto and southwestern Ontario. Highway 407 handles express toll traffic to the south, while the Milton GO Transit station offers rail and bus connections directly into Toronto's downtown core.
