Florist Delivery Hamilton

Hamilton stands as one of Canada's most significant urban centers, positioned at the southwestern edge of Lake Ontario. Long recognized as a leading manufacturing destination, the city's distinctive layout is defined by the Niagara Escarpment, which divides the municipality into upper and lower districts. Renowned for its exceptional natural beauty, Hamilton is home to more than 150 distinctive waterfalls.

Amalgamated Neighbourhoods

In 2001, the City of Hamilton consolidated with five adjacent municipalities, transforming these formerly independent towns into integrated neighbourhoods within a single-tier city framework:

Ancaster: Perched on the Niagara Escarpment, this historic settlement was founded in 1792 and preserves an affluent, nature-focused character.

Dundas: Historically called "Valley Town," this community lies below the escarpment and features a lively historic downtown district.

Stoney Creek: Located to the east, this area extends from Lake Ontario upward to the escarpment ridge. Its landscape includes farmland, residential expansion, and local orchards.

Flamborough: Primarily agricultural, this neighbourhood preserves smaller historic villages including Waterdown.

Glanbrook: Situated south of the escarpment, this area includes Binbrook and represents a notable transition zone where rural farmland gives way to suburban development.

Adjacent Municipalities

Beyond the amalgamated boundaries, other separate communities surround the eastern end of the Greater Golden Horseshoe corridor:

Burlington: Situated directly northeast across Burlington Bay/Hamilton Harbour, this waterfront community is part of Halton Region.

Brantford and County of Brant: Located to the west, these areas offer a combination of historic small towns and agricultural lands along the Grand River.
